Heatpumps

Cold-climate heat pumps and full-electrification retrofits, engineered for BC weather.

Overview

A properly sized heat pump heats and cools your home from one system, quietly, at a fraction of the running cost of gas or baseboards.

We spec cold-climate units that hold capacity down to -25°C and handle Lower Mainland winters without a backup furnace. Every install starts with a Manual J load calc and finishes with a commissioning record we hand to you.

What we do

Installation

New system, sized to the house.

Ducted, ductless, or hybrid. Single-zone or multi-zone. We size off a heat-load calc, not off square footage.

Refrigerant lines are routed for the shortest run possible. Outdoor units get proper elevation and clearance. Indoor units go where they'll actually move air.

How long does a heat pump install take?
Most residential installs are one to two days on site. Complex retrofits or multi-zone systems can run three.
Do I need to replace my furnace?
Not necessarily. A dual-fuel setup keeps your gas furnace as backup and lets the heat pump handle the shoulder seasons. We'll tell you honestly which makes sense for your home.

Maintenance

Annual service keeps efficiency high.

Filters, coils, refrigerant charge, drain lines, electrical connections, defrost cycle. Everything gets checked, cleaned, and logged.

Skipping maintenance is the single fastest way to lose 20% of your efficiency and shorten the equipment's lifespan.

Repair

Something's off. We'll fix it.

Not cooling. Not heating. Icing up. Short cycling. Weird noises. We diagnose the actual cause, not the symptom.

Emergency response is 24/7 for existing customers.

Replacement

Old unit dying? Plan the swap.

If the outdoor unit is more than 12 years old, or the compressor has failed, replacement usually beats repair on total cost of ownership.

We'll price the repair vs. replace honestly and show you the math.
